Faith Landmarks Ministries is a 12,000-member, non-denominational Church located in Richmond, Virginia serving the community both locally and globally for over 45 years. Believing in the Great Commission and propagating the Gospel, FLM has a vision to expand its ministry by planting Churches and Bible based educational institutions in and around Virginia and beyond. Windows IT Administrator – Level 1 Support (Full Time)
Job Title: Windows IT Administrator – Level 1 Support
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Windows IT Administrator (Level 1) to provide first-line support for our end-users. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in Windows environments and a strong interest in cloud technologies. You will assist in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user support across a range of Microsoft and cloud-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide Level 1 technical support for Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
· Respond to and resolve help desk tickets via phone, email, or in-person, using a ticketing system.
· Troubleshoot issues related to Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, Printers and Network connectivity.
· Support and maintain Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint environments.
· Assist with user account management in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
· Perform basic system updates, software installations, and patching under supervision.
· Document technical issues and solutions in the IT knowledge base.
· Escalate complex issues to Level 2/3 support as needed.
· Maintain inventory of IT assets and assist with hardware deployments.
· Assist with Azure Files access issues and permissions troubleshooting.
· Support basic tasks related to AWS S3 (e.g., access issues, file uploads/downloads).

Required Qualifications:
· Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
· 0–2 years of experience in a technical support or IT help desk role.
· Familiarity with:
o Windows OS (10/11)
o Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
o Active Directory and Azure AD
o Basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
o Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or similar).
· Strong problem-solving, communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar certifications. Cloud Certifications: Azure Fundamentals, or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
· Experience with Azure Files, AWS S3, or other cloud storage services.
· Exposure to ITIL or service management frameworks.
· Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., RDP, TeamViewer, AnyDesk).

Work Environment:
· May require occasional lifting of equipment (up to 25 lbs).
· On-call or after-hours support may be required on a rotational basis.
